South End Caravan Park is situated on Walney Island, a small island off the beautiful South Lakes and Cumbrian coastline. Our small, family-owned site has both static caravans and lodges available for sale. Moreover, we are only a short drive away from the beauty of the Lake District National Park.

Located to the south of the Island, South End Caravan Park is in a great location. Our lodges and static caravans are hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby town of Barrow in Furness.
Our family-owned site is relatively small and neighbours the family farm as well as a nature reserve, making it the ideal location for relaxing and unwinding. The South Lakes is on your doorstep. There are several walks nearby and it is the ideal place for exploring nature.
We have both an 8 month and 10.5 month season available, with site fees starting at as little as £2898. Alongside this, we are also members of BH&HPA as well as Perfect Parks.
As well as offering spaces for touring caravans and static caravans for ownership, we have an exciting new lodge development in progress. There are currently 8 plots available for sale offering luxury lodges with views over the surrounding South Lakes countryside.

Very relaxing place for both adults and children. All staff were really friendly and facilities were great also. Locals on the site were very welcoming to. Pool was fantastic for kids of all ages.good food, football and cheap beer!

My mother comes here with the motor home, it is truly lovely place and I love taking my dog, it is only 2 minute walk from the beach in every direction! They have a swimming pool, park and mini arcade and of course bingo ! I recommend.
Even though our site is situated in peaceful countryside, we are close to several locations perfect for days out. Walney Island is on the edge of the Lake District National Park and makes it easy for you to travel around the South Lakes region. Piel Island is on your doorstep and the coastline offers the perfect place for evening walks alongside the Irish Sea.
No matter what you are interested in, there is always something to do. Some of the other popular places to visit include Furness Golf Course, the Laurel & Hardy Museum in Ulverston, and the Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
